Rich Cousins

I have six years creative experience. With a 1st class LCC degree, I have worked for a leading communications agency, the Financial Times in London, and two design studios in Italy.

I now work at one of the UK’s leading communications agencies, Bullet, as an Art Director. I work with a variety of clients including Kia, Wonderbra, The Foreign Commonwealth Office, BAA and Häagen Dazs.

I am the lead designer of product launch campaigns for Old El Paso and Nature Valley, and the development of new brands for two housing associations. Both individually and as part of a team I develop concepts for new business pitches.

My experiences at University, in industry and in Italy have inspired me to think laterally and differently.

I believe design is a dialogue between the client and the audience. It should focus on finding the appropriate voice for a project rather than imposing a style. In a world where what we do and say is so public, design needs to have a soul and personality to connect directly with the audience. The key is thoughtful ideas, well-considered concepts and appropriate communication.
