For my self-initiated final year brief, I explored hidden code and processes within technology. 'The Compendium of Hidden Processes' is split into five chapters exploring the topic in a visual way, in layman terms, using experiments as examples.

The fifth chapter investigated the manipulation of the hidden code within digital files. Opening a .jpg in incorrect software reveals millions of characters. When just one character is missing this creates an extremely corrupted visual.
